Hi everybody,
I haven't checked in for awhile. This new site looks good.
I've read a few posts and just wanted to thank everybody for their kind words.
I think there might have been a little communication problem between Louise and I awhile back.
I think my comment to her at the time was more tongue in cheek. Frankly I don't care to see myself age on screen over the years. but it's kind of cool to have so many referance points from the past. One bad hair style to the next. I could really care less about age. Someone made a comment about having work done. Thanks, I must of looked good that day. But never.
Anyway I continue to plod along in the business. At present I'm in Montreal filming a mini series for the BBC called Superstorm. I'm loving it. It shoots until September so my summer with the kids is a little short.
I just finished a TV movie called Thrill of the Kill. It turned out very well. Don't ask me when it will air.
As for these Famous posts. Or past girlfriends. I love it . I'm as intrigued as the rest of you and haven't got a clue. But it's exciting to read.
Just wanted to make sure I said thanks to JG this time because he kind of got weird last time I didn't mention him. Jg ,I agree with you about Tom Ryan. Probably my favorite. I miss him too.
We all know that this could easily be your forum and I appreciate your humor.
Of note,
I finally tore my achilles tendon. I had been living with a partial tear for about 6 years. It used to be unbearable during the WildCard days. I finally had surgery. The last movie I did ,Thrill of the Kill, I had just had the surgery. Needless to say it was a grim existance. After 12 hours on and off the ankle running , chasing etc. I'd hardly wait for the end of the day.
The good news is, I think the surgery might have worked. It's now been 6 weeks and I'm feeling
less pain. So I look forward to being able to run and skate again. And sleep without waking up 4 times a night.
So enough.
It's really good to see that I can still be a conduit to your friendships

Thanks for checking in - it's always nice to hear from you.
Good luck with the ankle rehab. Does this mean we'll have more hockey games to attend? Or should we just show up whether you're playing or not? (Oh, wait, we already do that...

)
Glad to hear all is going well on the filming of projects. Best of luck with all of them, you know we will eagerly watch for them. I hope the nosy neighbor on Runaway gets more than 3 scenes a week (like in the pilot); it would be good to see you regularly again.

Chris, it's so good to hear from you!
We're all awaiting your new projects. My CP tapes/DVDs are getting a bit worn, and I'm so anticipating the new work, as much as I still enjoy the older stuff, too.
You're one of a kind. Our kind, our choice. That's why we're here.
Best to you and the family. Be well, and take care always,

Great to hear of all the new projects Chris! Look forward to seeing as much of them as possible, especially Superstorm, sounds cool.
Glad the surgery went well and that your recovery is coming along.
Thanks for dropping by and giving us a thrill!

Chris Honey, I knew it would be a matter of time before you started to miss me. All I needed was a sign before I would return. I heard about your recent project, Julian Simpson is a young and upcoming director and hear may be quite good, enjoy! Montreal is beautiful this time of the year, you may even be able to attend the Montreal film festival as it will run right up until you finish shooting, even though that may not be your cup of tea.
By the way Chris, age is definitely not a factor for you as I can tell you, you are aging quite fine and you look "marvellous." Ciao!
I got weird??? That statement implicitly implies that, at some point, I was normal. What are you saying??
(Just so you know, you realize I wasn't serious in "feeling slighted" before? I was just playing it up for a cheap joke with Margaret and Janine. Hey, you're not the only one who can act around here).
Yeah, Tom is hot, isn't he? Glad to hear you say that you like Tom Ryan better than Peter Caine. Elise will be glad to hear it too.
Elise, I'll trade you that banana for a big raspberry. Pbbbbbbbbbbbbbt!

We have done that, haven't we?
Chris,
Thanks for the update. As you can see, your fan base is going strong and growing.
We're looking forward to you latest projects, so keep "plodding".
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I am glad your surgery went well and you are feeling better. I was wondering if you missed getting out on the ice.

Very Nice of Chris to keep us up to date on what he's doing and take time for his fans, sorry to all who may be upset by me saying this but I had a feeling Chris would be flattered by all those Famous posts, to be honest, I kind of miss that excitement myself. I only wish we could have more clues as to who she is?
Famous if your reading, give us some clues please!
Chris I think your great!!!!!!!!!!
Barb, I don't want to live with you. You're a woman. I survived adolesence with two sisters. Now, I have my own bathroom. I intend to keep it.
Magaret, you can get Chris to mention you too. All you have to do is one of the following:
1). Say that you're famous and you want to have an affair with him.
2). Say that you're an ex-girlfriend and you wish you had an affair with him back when he remembered you.
3). Admit that Tom Ryan is the best.
It worked for me.
I wonder which one Elise is going to do?

Hello Chris,
I'm glad to hear from you. Communication problems may happen, but the main thing is it clears up.
I've heard about "A Thrill of a Kill", also "Runaway". Now I'm curious about "Superstorm".
Well, I wish you all the best for the future and your health.

Well Dreamy Girl, Superstorm is a miniseries from the BBC and is a drama documentary from the same team behind SUPERVOLCANO which will apparently see a team of scientists attempting to stop a hurricane in the Pacific and inadvertantly cause a massive storm which threatens New York. Hope this helps.

Mr. Potter, you've created a monster! The monkey deal was one thing, but this is too much. ;-)
Being a sane person, I choose number 4: None of the above. With a very few exceptions ("Rage" and "Forever" spring to mind, together with "Teacher's Pet") the character of Tom Ryan was so badly and boringly written that watching the show was a chore. Add in the fact that the Silk writers had ennui-inducing Tom "Cassy-whipped" week after week, it was a painful show to watch (and not in a good way!). SC should have fired those dorks and hired some of the excellent Silk fanfic writers who were around at the time - then it might have been an excellent show. But I'm a fan, so watch I did, each and every week, even though I ground my teeth to the bone at the insipid plotlines and rolled my eyes (and covered my daughter's) at the gratuitous sex, ridiculous wardrobe, and silicone implants that defied the laws of physics (not referring to you, o'course, Mr. P).

Thanks for the update, CP. Much appreciated.

Dear Chris,
It's great to hear that you will be appearing in Superstorm. If it's anything like its predecessor, Supervolcano, it should be a wonderful blend of science and fiction, with amazing special effects and, better yet, a very wide distribution. (It should even make on to the ABC here in Australia.)
All the very best to you and your family.

Marion, thank you for that. Very enlightening. Carolyn, I also thank you for not censoring Famous and others that post here because again this site should be for all who are fans of Chris and if it means writing a letter, note, etc. to him then so be it. I also read Chris Potter's thank you to his fans and gathered by what he said that he enjoyed these posts. Let whoever Famous is have their fun and let Chris and others who want to read it do so. Others who are not interested and find it offensive in anyway should disregard it and not answer to it in any way. It's that simple. Thanks Carolyn.

Hi Marion . . . just to let you know that I along with 3 other new members on this BBS Board have worked with Chris on Wild Card. He was very nice, drank alot of tea, sometimes coffee. Came to work always prepared, friendly, never ever complained about the long, long hours worked and always very polite and a total gentleman. He got along very well with Joely, so well infact that they were such a great team. We loved the cast and crew. Great fun and always a pleasure.
By the way, none of us are affiliated with FAMOUS, but we would all like to know who it is? Thanks for asking.

Undoubtably, you need to become a registered user, and then log in with your user name. Once you log in, there will probably be some sort of "My settings" link you can click upon to change/set various things.
But if you change your avatar to your dog's pic, you run the risk of people telling you that you need a haircut and shave.

Mr. Potter has acknowledged his interest in these posts by Famous. I am sure by now he must have an idea who it is. I hope in his next post he will make note of this actor. I personally think it is a bit flattering. For Mr. Potter as an actor he must be happy to read or see attention given to him considering his career has fluctuated so much through the years and still has it with his fans. Especially if they are really famous!!!!!!! To some extent it is a real compliment.
He is just so loved by so many of his loyal fans on this site that it's actually scary at times. All the long-time fans are so possessive over this wonderful man. I must say my favorite role to date has got to be (and I'm not being biased here) QAF. That was probably the most interesting, entertaining and his best acting to date. Chris Potter has to find more roles like that.
Again, I hope nobody has been upset that I have brought up all these posts but I will now take my time to read them and I will probably be shunned by most of you because of this but I do find them as interesting as Mr. Potter has described.
Good Day to all.
