This is the title we get for "The Pacifier" in Germany and Austria, most likely in Switzerland too. I don't think they could have given the movie a more stupid name.
But at least in a trailer show in a Munich theatre "The Pacifier" trailer was the one who got the most positive response, more than the trailer of the "Aviator"

How big is CP's part anyway? Who does he play?

The good news is that the Disney Channel is heavily promoting it, although I haven't seen a glimpse or mention of Chris at all. But maybe if Disney takes a liking to Chris...that can't be bad.

Though we don't see him in the trailers, at least Chris is listed on some of the movie websites. Though they don't betray anything about his character. That makes it even more interesting for me. Especially since he's listed as 1 of 9 actors/actresses on the MTV website and most of them are the film family.

Please don't take me wrong when I say this, but I truly think Chris deserves much better than Disney. Sure, the actors Disney employs make good livings, but Chris is a VERY talented actor, and could be headlining feature films.

What's wrong with Disney? Pirates of the Caribbean is a Disney movie and you can't say that it wasn't successful.

Look at it this way, if no other -- he's being exposed to the next generation of audience. "Pacifier" is even in this issue of "Disney Adventures" magazine. If he wants to remain steadily employed, he needs to stay in the sights of the money-spending demographic. With WC gone...

Also, Disney = ABC and Family Channel and whatever cable channels (besides than those w/ Disney in the title) that are in the group (sorry, too tired to look it up right now). A foot in the door is worth two pounding the street. (Ok, that one was a stretch. Told you I was tired.)

This is a rather loaded comment. Disney is the parent company of many production companies in various mediums. Although we scorn Lifetime for canceling Wild Card, Disney/ABC Television co-owns Lifetime. This is a good time to be associated with Disney. If not in film, ABC Television is developing a lot of new series and doing well this season.

Sorry, folks, didn't realize the connection. When I think of Disney, I think of all the kid-related stuff--animated shows, Disney World, and all that. Maybe he's in the right place, after all.

It's really Babynator. The translation of pacifier is Schnuller or more colloquial Lutsche (probably sucker in English)

We'll get the movie in April. And I actually like the trailer. Even with Vin Diesel in it. I may even have a reason to go twice to the movies. First with some other CP fans and if Chris had enough screentime a second time with the kids.

I just got back from Woodfield Mall, a monster mall outside of Chicago, and they had posters up in several prominent places for The Pacificer.

At last, a chance to finally see CP on a big screen! Hope this is just the beginning of a successful career in feature films along with continuing success on the small screen.
