The first season of KFTLC will be released in Germany on October 16th 2009 biggrin.gif

Finally the waiting is over. At least for us fans in Europe. I am keeping my fingers crossed that there will also be a release in the States, Canada and Australia soon.

I think since amazon.com already lists the series this shouldn't take too long in other countries. And if, we'll get the DVD-set in German and English, region 2 though. Ordering, once it's possible, shouldn't be too difficult for international buyers.

Saw the Amazon news and came here to see people already knew. smile.gif

If people in the states have a multi-region player, you're all set! (I buy international DVDs from Amazon.co.uk without problems, so I assume the same applies for Amazon.de.)

Some DVDs are dubbed in the native language in the region the DVD is released, but I do think I saw Englische ("English") as one of the track options, so that's a plus.

According to weltbild.de languages will be: German, English and French; subtitles will be in: English, French and Dutch

Well, in the unlikely case of amazon.de not selling DVDs to non-European buyers, there's always a fellow fan in Germany who can buy the DVDs and send them over to other countries *g*
It might be possible, though, that you can only get 1 copy of a DVD with RC2 (which would be analogue to amazon.co.uk's policy of selling a single copy of DVDs with RC1 to European buyers).

And yes, the DVD description lists English, German and French versions. English, French and Dutch subtitles (I wonder why there are no German subtitles, if the German version is there???)
