Chris is not on the front cover in France either bur he is on one of the DVDs
I think the bonus features will be the same, Interviews (none with Chris), Making of and some background story about the relationships in the show.
One of the costume designers talks about the scene where Chris had to jump into the river. He and his stunt double had about 9 sets of clothes and the river was really cold.

Oh well. At least he can be seen in the episodes.
According to cbc.ca episodes 1.08-1.13 will be released on November 15th.
Got my DVDs and Chris is in the Specials.
