If you have not read recently, CP will be emceeing again at the Rogers Sports Celebrity Dinner and Auction. Being an excellent storyteller, he did an amazing job at his new role.

This is the 53rd year at running this event in London, Ontario, to benefit the Thames Valley Children’s Centre and research at the Fowler-Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic. It will be held on Monday, January 19, 2009, at the London Convention Centre. Tickets are $150 for adults and $75 for youth (17 and under).

If the schedule is the same as the 52nd event in January 2008, there will be an autograph line prior to the taping of the event. This is your opportunity to meet some of the sport celebrities. CP will also be in line to sign your favourite item. A silent auction including items from various companies are held in a separate area from the stage and dinner area. Winning bids are announced closer to the end of the evening.

If you are considering attending, please contact Louise at lm@interchange.ubc.ca to be included on a private mailing list for further information on London, possible meeting place and other questions on the event. Type “London Group” in the subject header of your message and contact us no later than Sunday, November 30th, on your interest. Depending on the number of fans attending, we will see if we can arrange to be seated at the same table. There is an opportunity to meet CP. This will be arranged closer to the event so come for a night of entertainment and inspiration.
