Valerie,
Good job finding those pictures and thank you for sharing them.
I have a question though, as one who has studied costuming and being a fan of westerns in general: I was wondering if the 2 hats are to go with various moods: i.e., the white hat when he's feeling hospitable and the black hat for those days when he's just feeling downright ornery. Or is the white hat a summer hat; since it appears to be a straw hat and you wear both white and straw in the summer and the black hat is for winter, as it appears to be either wool felt or fur felt.
In either case, I repeat my earlier comment, CP, you gotta invest in some decent hat bands. They just add so much.
I'm just saying is all...

You are very welcome Linda
And about that hat question, I vote for the summer and winter hat

I am not quite an expert, I own only one black cowboy hat, which I got because I was (and still am) a big fan of Little Joe Cartwright and I wanted exactly the same hat

Nice pictures, thanks so much for sharing.
Sigh, wish we got Heartland here in the U.S. of A. Has anyone heard anything about a possible release of the series on DVD? I'd buy it.

Very nice photos you added, Valerie. Good work.
Now, obsessing, er getting back to the discussion of the hats... After reviewing the rest of the photos in this thread and then seeing the signature line with the photo of Frank from LDTOY*, I think I like the style of hat Frank wears better than the hats in Heartland. There's something about that style with the two pinched ridges that just doesn't look quite as flattering (on just about anyone) frankly.
Someone mentioned the style of hat worn by Little Joe - to me, that's a better style.
What do the rest of you think?

I'm talking about the accessories, not the cowboy.
