Hi there. It's been awhile since I visited. I hope everyone has a wonderful new yeat. I just noticed on TV-Now that "The Perfect Assostant" is on Lifetime tomorrow, January 2nd. It's on at 7:00 PM in the Denver market. Has anyone seen this movie yet? Thanks.

I think tomorrow is the Lifetime premiere. It airs here on the east coast of the US at 9pm.

Watched the movie last night. CP did a awesome job as always. He still looks great. There was good acting on everyones part. Very good plot, It kept me interested through the whole movie. The only thing that was lacking was at the end. I see that she was in prison, but I wonder if the police ever found out she killed his wife and pushed her cousin down the steps. Otherwise very good movie. smile.gif

Good one, Pan! tongue.gif And that's the best thing I can say about the movie. Chris looked great - he's still got IT. The script was awful. The acting was mediocre. There was no suspense. It was like listening to a first run-through of a script with no character development. The story was left unfinished. (Did they figure out she killed the wife and cousin? blink.gif )
I might give it another chance this weekend, but i doubt I'll change my mind. sad.gif
I have hopes that The Good Witch will be better. It could hardly be worse.
Hey! I hope everyone had a great HOLIDAY. And it is good to see Chris staying so busy.

I agree that it's good to see Mr. Potter so busy. And it's nice that he can work close to home (my own film-guy is off in Shreveport until MAY!!). Having said that - I'm off to GoogleMaps to see if that was a stupid thing to say.

Okay, not too stupid. Ottowa is about four hours away from Ontario (as opposed to the 11 hours Shreveport is from Atlanta).

Anyway, I have to also agree with Barb about the production. (wasn't this one of the ones that was shot in two weeks or less?) The lead had an uncanny resemblance to Jennifer Anniston, but other than that, I found nothing interesting about her. I'd never seen her work before. In fact, CP and Rachel Hunter were the only actors I did recognize. Not that I have to recognize actors to enjoy a program, but it can be comforting when the script is predictable.

And predictable is the hallmark of the Lifetime Network. They seem to cater to women with little imagination. The network seems to do well, so I guess there are lots of women like that out there. And really, there's nothing wrong with that either. Probably all those women are also math geniuses or CEO's, and/or PTA presidents.

So, yes, CP's hair looked nice. A little long and highlighted (sorry, just had to put that in in case he still reads these posts). In fact, he looked good all around. I always like to see him work with kids. He seems so comfortable with them.

And that's all I got.

Thanks for all the reviews. It`s highly appreciated smile.gif

I remember Josie Davis from The Young and the Restless a long while back and also as a young girl on Charles in Charge but I haven't seen her in anything in a few years. I'll be interested to see what she's like in this. Can't say I've ever seen Rachel Hunter do any acting (apart from being Rod Stewart's wife) laugh.gif

I guess with the Movie of the Week type deal which Hallmark show, I think its about people who want to just escape for a couple of hours and not have to think too hard! We could all do with that, couldn't we? tongue.gif

I can't wait to see Chris in this. The hair sounds wonderful! wink.gif

Okay, I just got done watching the movie.

Where to start???

Mr P looked fabulous - of course! Man, he really knows how to carry off a nice suit and tie.... yum

The hair was lovely and he really is a dish wink.gif

I have to say, the girl who played Nora the cousin - SHE WAS AWFUL... Man, I reckon I'd throw her down the stairs too!!! lol She really was very ordinary.

I didn't expect much from Ms Hunter, I wasn't disappointed.

As psychotic as the character of Rachel was, I think Josie Davis did an okay job pulling it off... but I have to agree - the ending left me wanting more.

Oh and I despised Wally as well laugh.gif

Cheers.

I thought the movie's ending was creepy.

SPOILER TO FOLLOW:

She didn't get caught for the 2 murders, and she's still fixated on him.

And I thought it was a nice twist for a Lifetime movie to have the leading lady as the baddie and the leading man as the person-in-peril.
