Superstorm is being shown in most of Australia next Tuesday (18th Dec) at 8.30 pm
on Win (nine) and has been given a good write up, three stars.

Just read on the Channel 9 site that this version is about 150 minutes long. Did they cut it again or is this with commercials? Now I am excited which version you will get.

unfortunately this does include the ads,
but after what they did to AWIT who would be surprised?
You remember the very first father/daughter bit?
the best part, the part that sets the scene?

I was just soooo excited to look in the TV Week and see Chris' name appearing - I was beside myself!!!

Yes, I`ve seen the US DVD of AWIT. I was shocked because here in Germany they showed it in two parts (runtime was about 180 minutes) with this scene included. It`s such a beautiful scene *sigh*
So, I think you will get to see the Discovery Channel cut of "Superstorm" with Dan surviving.

At least surviving is the preferable ending. 
Val, it is soooo cool to be watching TV and suddenly an ad pops up and our boy is in it! I keep having to pinch myself lol
I will have too much work to do tomorrow evening to allow myself 2 1/2 hours off to watch it, but I will record it anyway (not like I haven't seen it ) but somehow it seems different cos its on telly in Australia.

I almost dropped the tv I was taking to be repaired when his face suddenly appeared next to me on a huge plasma screen.
It was the first time I had seen the ad, I think I actually pushed the repairman out of the way lol.
Well he did say he was going to watch it.
One good thing though, the tv I was taking to be repaired worked perfectly, all it needed
