Sorry, Carmen, I think you were on while I was trying to track a few glitches like the blue on the posting forms (still can't figure out where those styles are hiding. ).

Glad everyone seems to like it. Now that I'm getting the time to start really learning how to use the new program, it's gonna get dangerous around here! My heroes over at the ka-Bloom board do some pretty amazing skins and change them regularly. I'm hoping to set up several and let each of you guys pick which one you want to use.

I'm also hoping to add a gallery for a few extra bucks per month (although I may have to fall on my knees and beg for more recent photos than ones I've got tucked away). And then there's the whole calendar thing that I've never used properly. Not to mention the membership distinctions that can be crated based on postings...

Anyway, thanks for the kind words and please be patient. I will master this program yet!

At the moment, just giving me some Amazon affiliate credits is plenty. I hadn't brought the link over from the last site change (being lost in the shop and all) and they've changed their policy on affiliate accounts requiring a certain level of action within a specific period of time. So the orders through the Amazon link or shop will be plenty.

I do have some things I hope to turn into site prizes and if I need to I can set up an auction on eBay. It's a lot easier running a prize drawing with the membership registration.

I'm glad everyone is liking the new look. I think I've figured out how to solve a few of the remaining glitches and I'm hoping to tinker with some new smilies and the icons over the next week or two. (although the blue one's don't look too bad).

It's great hearing from everyone. I'm going to head down to the Friends section later this week and see if I can start catching up on everyone's lives. I feel like I've been a castaway for several years!

Basically the answer is "yes." Almost everything on Amazon counts for some level of credit for the CP Pages affiliate account (there are some limits on big ticket items and used/marketplace items, but it's not horribly relevant).

As to why you didn't now about this before... I had the link up back when I had the full-scale, multi-section site up. I didn't get around to putting the link up when I moved to the Invision Power Board site (and didn't want to during the last elections when Amazon was donating heavily to a certain Presidential campaign...ahem, cough). Meanwhile, Amazon had been modifying the affiliate program, adding new features and such and I just didn't get around to looking at what was happening until I got my cut-off notice. I do like some of the new options and I plan to do a bit more with them. They're starting to add some new product lines and tie-ins that I think are good bets. The Amazon Shop was the fastest way to get stuff up before the deadline, but I plan to do some selective additions soon.
