Amazon is still at it. Check out another big sale! I was finally getting ready to take down the last sale link when I was notified by Amazon of a new one. Still a good time to replace something on video tape. :-)

Be sure to rug up and stay warm Kim
Here in Australia we had a blustery hot day yesterday of 36 degrees but today it is cold, windy and somewhat wet.... I think we're getting 26 for Xmas Day which will be nice (and only 10% chance of rain). What's it gonna be like in Tassie Maria??? Will you need your Winter woollies? Brrrr Kim, and all the rest suffering the cold, including my daughter in the UK. Well Jannine, I will have you know that we got 24 yesterday! it was so hot forecast is for 20 and cool on the day, Just as well as we will be cooking for about 50 guests at a tiny Church. The guests are people who would normally be alone for Christmas, and I cannot wait to share their day. Tomorrow I will be spud bashing! Merry Christmas! And Happy Hannukkah!
May the joyous spirit of the Season remain with you throughout the next year and May your New Year be filled with peace, laughter and prosperity! We are having an unseasonably white Christmas to the delight of the skiers, snowboarders, sledders and snowshoers -- assuming they can get up Hurricane Ridge Road in the Olympic National Park. We've been having snow followed below freezing temperatures (lowest was 14 Farenheit) followed by more snow and warmer temperatures followed by sun and temperature drops. Right now we're having a light snowfall with water dripping off the gutters. The results are me shoveling the garage roof and masses of birds and other wildlife flocking to my feeders. There's a raucous chorus of Stellar's Jays screaming for their peanuts as soon as the sun is up (fortunately, that's around 7:30-8:00 am right now), both a Hairy and a Downy Woodpecker who love the suet/seed cylinders, a Ruby-Crowned Kinglet who is determined to eat and entire suet cake herself and a couple of Flickers who are ridiculously nervous and flighty for the second largest woodpecker in the world and tons of Pine Siskins, Sooty Fox Sparrows, Juncos, Black-Capped and Chestnut Chickadees, Towhees and more. The raccoon got 3/4s of a pumpkin pie last night And Took The Pie Pan, Too! Here's a shot of one of the largest visitors to the feeders:
