Amazon is still at it. Check out another big sale! I was finally getting ready to take down the last sale link when I was notified by Amazon of a new one. Still a good time to replace something on video tape. :-)

Hi! There's been quite a stir here in Canada about cuts to arts funding if Prime Minister Stephen Harper returns to govern in Canada. There are a number of film and television stars who oppose these cuts, including Mr. Potter. If interested, please go here:

http://www.thestar.com/FederalElection/article/504811

There is a small video clip on this site. I know Mr. Potter isn't shown speaking, but he's there, supporting those who are.

I truly hope these cuts don't take place, because it would take away greatly from our culture and world identity. Shows like "Heartland" might not be made in future if there is no funding to support them.

There's another link on the same issues facing the Canadian arts issues.

They do quote Chris in the last article. rolleyes.gif

We do have a show in Germany, called something like "the perfect celeb dinner". On four nights of the week one of the celebs has to cook a dinner for the others at his home. Mr. Harper should watch this show from time to time, I'm sure it destroys his illusion that every celeb has too much money.
